This sounds like an ideal job for my brother. He is into making Ambient tunes, I don't know if he ever does anything guitar based.

He is a freelance programmer that makes his own tunes on the side.

I will direct him to this page to see if its of interest. :)

That sounds good Dean. Does he live any where near Warwick? We are looking for some one local if possible but of course the right person for the gig is the right person irrespective of geography. I don't mind if any one interested is not very experienced or skilled as i am looking for an enthusiastic learner ideally and one who gets where i am coming from.
Aside from all that might it be possible to visit you some time in August with a view to consolidating some t- shirt ideas?
All the very best to you and yours mate. Hope to catch up with you soon.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for your kind comments and support.

For me the issue is not one around folk "being in touch with my views". It was about debating what might be considered to be one of the most important issues of our time, namely the PRISM affair. I thought people would express opinions and maybe suggest how we might respond to the reality that nothing is private. Silly me.

I have a theme and a message for all those between 50 and 70 years old. This dysfunctional society we have created is largely down to your apathy and selfish greed so - WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

I am often frustrated by the non participation of some of my peers in the affairs of community and the civic society. When it's time to march, demonstrate and remonstrate or even sign an online petition, they are mostly missing.
If we don't fight back and make our outrage felt about the way our government is behaving one day it will be too late to act. There will be no vehicle or platform that will allow us to do so.
By inaction we are colluding with a concerted effort to neutralise effective opposition to central government policy in the future. The precedents for this are historic and ugly.

PARTICIPATE ! AGREE? DISAGREE?
ARGUMENT, DEBATE and DISCUSSION is at the heart of change. This is true how ever difficult achieving positive change might seem to be.

We have set up a food bank in my town & I am part of food for life. If everyone could do some small kindness then it would start to bring communities back together. Most folk are disillusioned with politics or they feel what happens in government is 'out there' somewhere. One lady I spoke to recently said there was no point as nothing would change. She was thinking in BIG terms when I said about food banks & REAL support she changed her mind & asked if she could help. If the seeds are planted then I truly believe the fruits will roll out all over the country. I think many get confused & feel they have to move a mountain & they do not have time or money but a cooked meal for a hungry person goes a long way as that person quite often then says they would like to help with the cooking & so on. If communitees form strong bonds this will affect change as we are then taking back control & this eventually will lead to political change. I don't think we should ignore the issues but to get people motivated they need to see that there is a way & surely that has to be through actions they can see. We offered a free feast the other day & it was amazing the amount of people who then wanted to help & give donations - yet had we said £5 per head many people would have been excluded many who could not afford that. This way everyone got fed & many offered help & money.

Thank heaven Parliament has voted down action in Syria.Who do we think we are to intervene in Iraq,Afganistan,Syria or Libya?Damn the west and out demons out.

So we stand by and continue to witness Assad as he poisons his own people and do nothing at all?The vote to not take military action there was not based on 'who are we to interven e' or any high minded humanistic idealsbut financial and commercial interests as well as the fact that we have run down our forces.I am also relieved we are not going to partake in strikes against Syria but be sure we will not try to dissuade the USA from doing so as they surely will.I would lock our leaders and the Chinese and Russians in a room along with Assad until a solution has been found but of course that will never happen but we cannot just watch as thousands of innocents are slaughtered and say it is not up to us to try and stop it.I am a lifelong pacifist but I would surely intervene if I saw an old lady being mugged in the street with whatever means I had at my disposal.
We left Egypt to it remember.
We need a UN with teeth or a world body that really can take control of these situations before it gets to this point. We have seen Syria falling into this dreadful time for years now and not acted.
Unfortunately we're damned if we do and damned if we don't, but to desert these people is not an option in my book.

Just an irrelevant fact. In the time itn took me to write my last comment(around 8 minutes) Gareth Bale earned £240 !!!
Come on, enough's enough.
